WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW--The Basics

In normal use, WebRecord runs alongside your internet browser, which is likely to be the main focus of your attention. WebRecord is independent of your browser, but if you are using Netscape Navigator 2.0 or higher, or Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 or higher, WebRecord tracks locations you visit and automatically adds them to its print list.

The WebRecord print list (the upper part of the window) is a list of Web locations you can chose to print. At your leisure you can:

  • select (tick) locations for inclusion in your printout, or deselect (untick) them;
  • rearrange the print list order by dragging and dropping listed items;
  • change the appearance of your printout by using various WebRecord options.

At any time, you can print your current selection in either a full-featured or a simplified format.

Most of WebRecord's operation is automatic, and you will be able to use many of its features without any instruction. However, a brief examination of the information provided here will ensure that you are aware of all of WebRecord's features. If you require additional details, refer to the WebRecord on-line Help.
